Johnson Ross Tackle first opened its doors in 1987, it has always been a family run business with the shop being run by Anthony, Matt and Lewis Johnson. The shop underwent a huge transformation in 2007, which extended the floor space to over 5000 sq ft. This allowed us to stock an extensive range of specialist carp fishing tackle, within the shop you will find all the very best names, and all the carp tackle you could ever want.

There is a large upstairs section of our shop where you can look, touch and play with the products before you buy, we have also opened a dedicated custom built rod showroom where you are able to select a wide range of custom built rod options which will allow you to achieve the finished rod of your dreams. Our constant awareness to the ever changing needs of a carp angler has kept us on our toes over the years this has allowed us to stay one step ahead of the game, and we will continue to move with the times by always putting our customers needs first.

2021 saw the launch of our new lightning fast, feature packed website which features thousands of products and is updated daily, we try to bring you the best in cutting egde tackle combined with great prices and excellent availability and service. Unlike other sites ours is linked live to our stock control system so if the site shows its in stock it means you can order it safe in the knowledge it will arrive.
